Company estimates are that only about 1% of individuals who could benefit from the Baha system currently have it. The specific goals of this workshop are to: Raise the awareness of practicing audiologists regarding Baha patient indications so that those patients who may benefit from Baha technology are referred to implant centers for evaluation. Educate current Baha audiologists on the most current sound processor, the Intenso and its applications. Ensure that those same audiologists are aware of recommended fitting procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Provide information to existing and potential Baha centers about program development and obtaining third party coverage for their patients who are candidates.
